My Name, My Nature: An Evening of Womxn’s Poetry & Woven Stories

An Evening of Poetry, Grounding, and Community

Inviting womxn of all ages to explore individual expression through grounding meditation, raw poetry writing, and a community open mic. Hosted by interdisciplinary artist Toni Short within the natural sanctuary of Coco-Mat SoHo, this immersive, intergenerational gathering invites guests to slow down, connect with their unique voices, and celebrate human commonality through the spontaneous power of words.

Through grounding rituals and free-writing, you'll uncover universal themes, gain new perspectives, and experiment with spoken word in a supportive environment. Together, we will move from listening to making, culminating in the collective weaving of the Story Loom—a living tapestry of our shared presence that will remain as a permanent archive in the store.

Special Guest Feature
Come catch Mijori: VOCALIST & COMMUNITY HARMONIZER. A visionary architect of culture, community, and sound—part activist, part storyteller, all heart. Her work lives at the intersection of mental health, music, and identity, where she builds bridges between art and healing, turning untold stories into movements.
